l have a quarter horse mare, 14.3 hh, 6yo, very quiet, of whom l am trying to sell due to me no longer having the time to enjoy her. Pi (Pioneer Fancy boots) was broken in about 18 months ago but not had a great deal done with her, she has been ridden by many beginners, children and adults, she loves people and will follow you around like a puppy dog. l am looking for someone who can take her to a local pony club for a couple of rallies to give her some experience in that area, she would be ideal for a young compitent rider who is looking to moving up in size.
A couple of weeks ago l rode her for the first time in 4 months and she was as good as gold. Since then l have taken her on a trail on her own, opened and closed gates on her for the first time (she did it really well for a beginner) and l took her through a little obstacle course of which she has never done before, walking over a tarp, getting poles out of a barrel and putting them in another, bending, cavalette, backing etc. She performed each task fantastically, once she had done each task once she acted like a pro.
